Better Sundays, without buying anything new.*

* Sometimes we need to buy new things.

Production support for UK churches. Sound, video, streaming and the teams who run it.

A lot of the time, buying new gear isn't the fix. The biggest improvements usually come from simplifying the setup you already own and helping your team feel confident using it.

The problem you probably have.

It's incredibly common to end up with equipment nobody fully understands, or a rota that completely depends on one or two people. You might have a senior leader asking why the stream keeps dropping, while a volunteer team is doing their absolute best on a Sunday morning with zero time to actually learn the gear.

Sometimes, the immediate reaction is to get a quote for a massive new system. You might suspect that spending more money isn't the real answer, but it's hard to know without an independent way to check.

That is usually the point where it's worth giving me a call.

What you can book.

1. A look at your setup

I come and see the room on a quiet mid-week day. Away from the busyness of a Sunday, we can go through the system together with clear headspace. I'll then write you an honest report covering what's working, what isn't, and what it would take to fix. If you don't need to spend money, the report will say so.

2. Training for your team

An evening with your volunteers, or a day with your staff. Highly practical, hands-on training using your own equipment, aimed exactly at whatever level your team is currently at. We can cover the audio desk, cameras, streaming workflows, or even just the working relationship between your production lead and your senior team.

3. Freelance Engineering

Alongside the coaching side of things, I am also available for straightforward freelance engineering. If you just need a safe pair of hands for a project, I take bookings for Audio Engineering, Producing, Vision Mixing, Stage Management, and full Production Management.

Ben Musson

About Ben.

I run production at SAINT, across multiple sites and a weekly stream. Before that I was the production manager at HTB Brompton Road.

Hackney Church also runs as a music venue in London. We have worked alongside Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Deadmau5, Biffy Clyro, and even hosted corporate events for everyone's favourite baked bean brand.

Take a look at the Insta showreel, it includes interesting things from gigs to farming.

I don't sell equipment and I don't take commission from anyone who does. Whatever I recommend, I have absolutely no financial interest in you buying it.

How it works.

1.

We chat.

We start with a free, 45-minute phone call to figure out where you are at. No pressure, no obligations.

2.

I write it down.

I'll send over a short summary covering what I heard, what I would suggest doing next, and exactly what it would cost to get involved. (It's written plainly so you can forward it straight to your vicar or your finance team!)

3.

You decide.

Then it is totally up to you. I won't chase you with follow-up sales calls.

FLEXIBLE Logo FLEXIBLE App.

I have built a free app called FLEXIBLE. It acts as a central command dashboard to perfectly sync your production clocks, cues, and stage messages across your entire network. It costs absolutely nothing to use.

AI Workflows.

FLEXIBLE was built using AI, which I would much rather tell you than have you guess.

I am always happy to help churches work out where these new AI tools genuinely save time, and where they don't. From automating rotas to streamlining service planning and admin, the most useful applications are actually incredibly unglamorous. That is exactly why so few people write about them.
